After a round of upsets and the draw, no-one tipped all eight winners over the weekend. So the prize pool jumps to $520. Tip now to avoid disappointment.
According to the tipping ratio statistics there were 3 major upsets, one minor upset and the draw: Carlton (14.8%) defeated Geelong Friday night setting up a nightmare round for tippers; then West Coast (1.9%) defeated the Western Bulldogs, scotching any idea they were tanking, in the upset the season. St Kilda (48.3%) defeated Hawthorn, despite making 7 changes. It is all about process, not individuals, they say. After three games the only live entry was the RAT.
Essendon and Brisbane played a draw, Bradshaw kicking the "sealer" with seconds to go. Then Collingwood (44.5%) defeated Adelaide in Adelaide. To finish off the weekend, Fremantle (32.5%) defeated Port Adelaide, all but dashing their finals aspirations.
Meanwhile at the top of the Tipsters' Table we now have only one outright leader, Peter Hawting (external) with an aggregate score of 113. There were 4 equal leaders last week but with Jane Bentley and Marian Ross only tipping one, they crashed to equal third. Outright second belongs to Eddie Ross (c/o Monash)on 111 despite only tipping 2. Equal third to fifth now are:
The average score for the round was a very low 3.2, down 2.48 on last week. The RAT (Random Tipper) tipped 6 and 26 people (11%) didn't tip.
Tips close at 7 pm Friday.
You can tip
for the whole season - and then change your tips weekly - to be sure.
Tip now to avoid disappointment.
Good luck,
