According to the tipping ratio statistics there was one major upset: the Dockers (20.7%) defeated West Coast Eagles on derby weekend.
The match of the round was Hawthorn versus Carlton which went down to the wire with Fev shooting for his nineth goal, 15 metres out, 45 degree angle, 1 minute to go, 5 points down. It grazed the post resulting in a point and Hawthorn won. Carlton had come from 17 points down late in the last quarter. Roughhead kicked eight and won man of the match. Fev was consigned to the front page of the Sunday Age.
Meanwhile at the top of the Tipsters' Table Rob Sturrock maintains outright first position after tipping a solid 6 this week, but now only a point ahead of Vicki Mimis after her brillaint eight. Rob has an aggregate score of 38 and Vicki 37. Equal third to tenth are:
