The MSR uses the function room at the Tower Hotel as its Club Hall. The Tower Hotel is located at 686 Burwood Road, Hawthorn (corner of Burwood and Camberwell Roads), Melways Reference 45 G11. Typically we meet at 6.30 pm for a meal followed by the meeting at 8.15 pm. The Club holds general meetings three times a year including the Annual General Meeting on the first Thursday of May. The other two meetings are the first Thursdays of September and January. An MSR meeting is called to order around 8.15 pm when the formal part of the evening begins. Various reports - Treasurer's, Captain's, Secretary's are spoken to. Then the floor is thrown open to general business where motorcycle related topics are discussed or noted for

further actions. Often a guest speaker provides an entertaining insight into some aspect of motorcycling. At other times digital photographs from recent rides are shared on a big screen. The meeting concludes with the drawing of the door prize, paid for by a (compulsory) raffle ticket, typically a bike magazine, tyre pressure gauge or can of chain lube. The meetings are relatively informal and open to all members, visitors and friends. They are a good opportunity for members to catch up with each other and learn how the Club is going.
